As you probably know, mates, I'm a member of the group RPNation-Hetalia, which as always, is looking for some new mates to join! I reckon a few of you out there reckon you'd make a great Hutt River or the best Germania we've ever seen, but just didn't apply for it. Well, mate, I'm gonna tell you right now, that you should go ahead and apply! In fact, I'm gonna teach you right now how to apply.

Alright, let's just grab the list of things we need to fill out.

Now, you'll need to make the title of the note the character you want to apply for, mate. It'll make it easier for us to work out who you're applying for. It'll also make it a little easier to find your application when we're reviewing it!

So, for this example I'm gonna apply for my old boss: Julia Gillard.

TITLE: Julia Gillard Application.

1.) Did you read the rules?

Well, you'd have to read the rules before ya sign up, mate. I'm gonna say "Yes" to having read them. Eshays.

2.) Tell us a little about yourself so we can know you better! Where you're from, how old you are -- our group is pretty extensive and we like to know where our new members come from! (It also helps to figure out time zones and such )

Well, of course you'd fill in your own personal info here, mate.

"G'day. I'm Jack Kirkland. I'm 112 and still goin strong! I spend most of my days outside, but I reckon I could spare a few hours to come and chill with you blokes and sheilas. As you've probably guessed, I'm from the land Down Under. It's a pretty ace place if I do say so myself. Though, it's a bit close to that bloody island that smells of sheep shit."

3.) What is your experience as a RPer and why do you think you deserve the nation you have picked?

It doesn't matter if you don't have any experience, mate. It's nice to have some, but it's not something that's gonna hold you back from joining.
"NAAAAH MATE. I'M SORRY BUT I DON'T HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE. Well, I did dress up as a sheep once, and fooled me brother for about half an hour. He worked it out after I didn't want to go into the shed for a root. Anyway, I reckon I'd be an ace RP'er for Julia Gillard. After working with her for a few years, I reckon I'm ready to Move Forward and try out for her."

4.) Now step into your character and have them tell us about themselves, you can have them tell us about who they like or hate, or important points in their history. Anything that will help us understand how you like to play your character. The more detailed you get, the better we can see how you are going to play your character so we're looking for more than a few sentences here.

"G'day Australia.

As you're probably aware right now, as of yesterday, Wednesday the 26th of June, 2013, Kevin Rudd has been elected as leader of the Federal parliamentary Labor Party.

I congratulate Mr Rudd on his election. In view of his election I have written to the Governor-General asking her to commission Rudd as prime minister of Australia.

It has been an honour serving the Australian people since 1998; serving the community that I've had the absolute privilege of representing for all those years.Three years ago I had the very great honour of being elected as Labor leader. It followed having the honour of being elected as deputy leader and Deputy Prime Minister following the 2007 election. This privilege was truly humbling.

I'd like to thank the Australian Labor Party for that privilege and the Australian people for their support. I thank my colleagues for the overwhelming support when I first put myself forward for consideration as Labor leader in 2010 and I thank them for giving me the opportunity to not only to serve the nation, but to serve as the first female prime minister of this country. In the years in which I've served as prime minister, predominantly, I have faced a minority Parliament and faced internal division within my political party.

I am very proud of what this government has achieved, which will endure for the long term. Very proud of the way in which we achieved health reform, against the odds, with newly elected conservative leaders. Very pleased that we pushed through and put a price on carbon - an historic reform that will serve this nation well and required us to have the guts and tenacity to stare down one of the most reckless fear campaigns in this nation's history.

Under my government, we have strengthened both our alliance with the US while taking a major stride forward in our relationship with China. I'm very pleased too that we have taken big strides forward in other relationships including our relationship with India.
